Brian M. Mulholland is a Senior Consultant for the WM Group, providing leadership in marketing, advertising, public relations, event management and an array of other services.

Brian M. Mulholland was founder of MMC, Inc., a full service marketing, advertising and public relations firm, specializing in business development. The firm assisted companies in establishing their corporate identity, designing their strategic marketing plans, organizing sales training and sales action plans, identifying new markets and new customers, orchestrating special events, designing corporate communications and communicating with current and prospective customers. Considered an expert in marketing, Mr. Mulholland has lectured at such places as Boston College.

Prior to founding MMC, Mulholland was a 20-year veteran of the hotel industry.

For eight years, he managed the 455-room Sheraton Premiere Hotel at Tysons Corner, Virginia. Under his leadership, the hotel received numerous industry awards, including the ITT Sheraton Chairman's Award, indicating that his property was one of the best 25 hotels in North America in guest service and hospitality, as well as having one of the five best hotels in physical inspections of cleanliness and maintenance. Each year, the hotel's profit performance improved and the hotel was considered to be one of the best-operated properties in Metropolitan Washington, D.C.

After serving, at age 23, as the youngest Director of Convention Services in the history of Hilton Hotels Corporation at the Washington Hilton, he served as the Director of Marketing of the New Orleans Hilton & Towers in New Orleans, Louisiana and the Fontainebleau Hilton Resort in Miami Beach, Florida. He also served as Director of Marketing for the Lafayette Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts before becoming Director of Marketing North America for Swissotel, supervising all hotels and regional sales offices in North America. In each of those positions, he was responsible for all marketing, sales, advertising and public relations efforts.

Mulholland has been an active member of his community, having served as Chairman of the Board of the American Heart Association and as a member of the board of directors of the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, American Cancer Society and the Superintendent's Business & Industry Advisory Council for Fairfax County Public Schools. He was President of the Parent Teacher Organization for our Lady of Good Counsel School and founder of their annual fundraising auction. He was co-chair of the Superintendent's Business & Industry Advisory Council and Chairman of the successful Citizens for School Bond Referendum. He chaired four major philanthropic social events and was active in many other organizations and activities. He has received numerous awards, including 1994 Citizen of the Year in Fairfax County, the Justin McClunn Society Award for Support of Catholic Education, the 1997 Superintendent's Award and two Human Relations Awards from Fairfax County Public Schools.
