William D. Mulholland, CPA, MBA has more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience in both public and private accounting. In this capacity, he has served as CFO or Controller for clients that have included World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Innovative Marketing Solutions, TASSC International, The Elizabeth Ministry, Council on Competitiveness, and So Others Might Eat (SOME). He previously held a similar position as a Senior Associate with Roche & Associates, P.C., a Washington, DC area certified public accounting firm.

Before joining Roche & Associates, William Mulholland was Treasurer and Controller of Quantum Photonics, a manufacturer of fiber-optic components. From 1990 to 2000, he was a Financial Manager for Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc., formerly Allied Signal Technical Services Corporation. Prior to that position, he was employed by Thomas Havey & Company, a Washington certified public accounting firm.

A native Washingtonian, Mulholland graduated from St. John’s College High School. He earned his B.A. in Accounting from The Catholic University of America and his M.B.A. from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mr. Mulholland is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is the Treasurer for the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation,  serving the working poor of Washington, DC.  In addition, he is the President of the St. John’s College High School Alumni Council  where he previously served on the Board of Trustees. Formerly he was a member of the Board of Governors of The Catholic University of America Alumni Association.

Mr. Mulholland specializes in interim CFO management, budgeting and cash management, not-for-profit organizations, and small business and start-up consultation.
